Brief History of major events in Palos
in the year 820
The first foreign settlers arrive in Palos following an exploration led by dissatisfied citizens of a nearby civilization. They instantly begin to conquer and explore, not with the intention of uniting into a single nation but were all fractured to their own towns and surviving on their own.
In the year 850
The indigenous peoples were pushed into the top part of what would become the nation of Palos by the settlers. This would result in numerous conflicts, claiming lives on both sides.
In the year 1000
After decades of fractured, divided and warring communities the settlers decided to protect themselves and future generations they would have to form a higher government. They elected a well known leader named Farus and determined his bloodline would rule them as monarchs. Thus Palos and its monarchy was founded.
In the year 1061
King Farus was succeeded by his son Martin, Martin would become the first king not elected in Palos. The citizens were generally liking of him.
In the year 1221
Monarch after Monarch have passed and the nation of Palos has grown corrupt under the reign of Zech, the people began to grow uneasy, in city areas a resistance is beginning to organize
In the year 1235
The revolution has succeeded, and a new government is formed. A new monarch is put in power and the Sword Guild is formed to keep the government in balance by taking over the defense of the public sector leaving foreign defense for the Royal Army.
In the year 1350
This is the year our story begins, and everything past this will be recorded in the future volumes of Curved Sword Man
